The Tommy Shreve Band
Blue River is Tommy Shreve's first solo project. Self-produced in 1995, it's namesake is the river that runs through Shreve's adopted Colorado hometown. It is a collection of mostly Shreve originals with a few classic gems from the blues genre. Most of the tracks were recorded at TechnoSound studios in Baton Rouge and Dockside Studios in Maurice and were written over several years in the early 90's. Although based on his signature "guitarslinger" sound, many tracks feature sax, keyboard, and vocal harmonies. |
